1. What We Collect

Account data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you use GitHub or Google OAuth, your display name and avatar URL. We do not access your repositories, contacts, or other external data.

Usage data: We collect aggregated, non-identifying metrics including page views, soul view counts, star counts, and merge counts. These are used to compute trending rankings and platform-wide statistics displayed publicly on the homepage.

Content data: Soul documents you publish, comments, ratings, and merge results are stored in our database. Published souls are publicly visible by design.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Platform operation: Authentication, displaying your profile, rendering the hub, computing leaderboard rankings
  • Analytics: Aggregated statistics about soul popularity, category trends, and platform growth. We do not use third-party tracking pixels or advertising networks.
  • Academic research: Anonymized and aggregated data about soul document patterns, persona design trends, and AI agent configuration practices may be used for non-commercial academic research (see Publishing Terms for published content specifics)
  • Platform improvement: Understanding feature usage to improve the Build, Publish, and Hub experiences

3. What We Do Not Do

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties
  • We do not serve advertisements
  • We do not track you across other websites
  • We do not use your data to train commercial AI models

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with industry-standard encryption. Soul merge requests are processed by our LLM provider (OpenClaw agent) and the results are stored in our database. We do not retain raw LLM conversation logs beyond the stored merge output.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your profile data, stars, ratings, and merge history are permanently removed. Published soul documents may persist if other users have starred or merged them, but authorship attribution will be anonymized.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only for authentication session management (Supabase auth tokens) and theme preference storage (light/dark mode). We do not use analytics cookies, marketing cookies, or third-party cookies.

7. Children

The Platform is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted on the Platform.
